For practices that access Medisoft on our network, we will be upgrading in the next month or so to Medisoft Version 26, which has enhanced security. In V26, passwords will now require a minimum of 8 characters with a mix of alphanumeric characters as well as upper and lower case letters.

For practices that access Medisoft on our network, if your current Medisoft passwords do not fit the above criteria, we recommend that you change your password now rather than waiting for V26 to be installed.

To change your password now do the following:

• Submit a ticket in the Support Suite (do NOT send an email)
• List your Medisoft user name and the new password that you want to use that complies with the above requirements.
• If your practice has multiple Medisoft user names, list each user name and the corresponding password to use for each user name.
• The above does NOT affect your initial login and password to our server; it only pertains to the login to Medisoft.
