New Prior Authorization Service

  Are you tired of waiting on the phone or completing forms online to obtain prior authorization for services for your patients?  Now for our mental health practices only we are pleased to offer a prior authorization service.

• Simply complete a brief form online at http://www.mbpros.com/priorauth providing us the patient's name, DOB, diagnosis code(s) and any specific codes to authorize (generally we will authorize for 90837 psychotherapy unless you indicate otherwise).
  

• We will then either obtain authorization online or call the payer for authorization.

  • Note:  Your office may have to provide us access to payer portals in order for us to obtain authorization online.  If you think you will be using our services for prior authorizations, we highly recommend that you provide us the names of your payers so we can determine if we need access to the payer portals.
    

• We will provide you a copy of the authorization received.

  • For TherapyNotes practices, we will upload a copy of the authorization into the Documents for the patient, enter the authorization details on the Billing Settings tab and notify you when completed.

• Fee is only $19.95 per authorization.
